R.D. Olson Development was instrumental in transforming the Health Research Association’s seven-story structure, originally built in 1966 as a hotel, into a state-of-the-art medical office complex. Located adjacent to the USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, this extensive 70,000-square-foot renovation involved demolishing the building to its basic structure, adding on seven stories, and seismically reinforcing the building with new caissons, concrete grade beams and steel X-bracing.
As a complete package, the updated building also features a conference center and a restaurant.
