Craig Butcher is Director of Real Estate Acquisitions at R.D. Olson Development, where he leads the sourcing and execution of acquisition and development opportunities across all asset classes and is responsible for driving business development and new growth initiatives in key U.S. markets.

With more than 25 years of experience, Craig has held leadership roles with Marriott International, Trammell Crow Residential, and Extended Stay America. He is recognized for driving market expansion, optimizing performance, and executing strategies that deliver measurable results across varying market cycles.

Craig’s experience reflects a strong ability to understand market demand, identify opportunities, and position investments to deliver consistent, well-balanced returns. His cross-functional background—spanning acquisitions, development, operations, sales, and revenue strategy—supports a practical approach to connecting strategy with execution across a range of real estate projects.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the USC Marshall School of Business and brings a disciplined, results-driven approach to identifying opportunities and delivering long-term value.
